St. Jude Parish bolsters its strength through the service of its volunteers. Without you, our parish would not be able to function so effectively as it does. Your willingness to put yourself forward and lend your gifts and talents contributes to creating a stronger ministry for St. Jude Parish.
As a volunteer, you are required to be in full compliance with the Diocesan Safe Environment Policy which was created to assure that church volunteers be committed to providing a safe environment for our children and youth. Clearances are required for ALL who minister in the name of the Church, even if the ministry/volunteer activity does not directly involve children.

Saint Jude, friend to those in need,
I am weary from grief, without joy, without hope,
struggling to find the light I know is in my soul.
I turn to you, my most trusted intercessor.
Take away this emptiness and the pain of my broken heart.
In your compassion, help my tears
to lead me to a place of peace in my heart.
Too long have I forgotten the goodness of God’s world.
Heal me. I yearn to feel light, to feel joy.
Envelop me in brightness, and do not hold back.
And I promise, if I receive these gifts,
I will share them always in your name.
Amen.
SCAM ALERT!
Scammers are emailing and texting parishioners, claiming to be their pastor and asking for gift cards. If you receive an email or text from someone who claims to be your priest, asking for gift cards or money: Do not respond. Do not click on anything in the email. Anyone who has given money or gift cards in response to such a request should call the police. Your clergy will never make an urgent request for money or gift cards via email or text. If you wonder whether a parish request for giving is legitimate, call your parish office to ask.
